While we consider all things date-ey, Orion have asked me to submit two paintings for the 2008 Discworld Calendar.
Here is a sketch of The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents, that has been sitting in my big THINGS TO DO pile for years. So I hope to finally finish it for the calendar…(as long as it is approved!)
Now I get to read the text for Making Money so that I can submit an illustration from it for the second calendar image.
A big thank you to my sculpting friend Sean Green, who kindly sent me a casting of ‘Dwarf Bread’. He has rendered one of my illustrations from Nanny Ogg’s Cookbook into 3D, and I think you’ll agree it’s a fantastic tribute.
