This month has seen the launch of a long running project, the sculpture of the griffin, Nemisis. I would like to thank Paul O’Boyle and the guys at Phoenix Fine Art Bronze Foundry in Basingstoke for doing such a grand job, also thank you to Landford Stone who supplied us with the magnificent granite base at a moment's notice.

The piece was show-cased at the Birmingham NEC Antiques for Everyone show on the Books Illustrated stand, and will also be exhibited at The Lapada London Fair, The Royal Academy of Arts, 6 Burlington Gardens, W1  from the 8-11 May.

Check out the studio page for a feature on the various stages that have gone into making this latest venture…

I am currently having fun designing new images for the Charmed Realm range of greetings cards:

Sadly, due to a mix up with the publishers, Miss Treason will not be gracing the 2009 Discworld calendar after all, which was frustrating news to hear. But I have been cheered up no end by the fantastic images visitors have sent into the website. In fact, they're so great I want to share them:

Firstly here is a very fine dragon ‘Smut’ sculpted by Malte Fulda…

Thanks for coming back for more Paul Kidby exclusives from our monthly update, and a big WELCOME if this is your first visit.
