Just when you think a project is all done and dusted... there's a development.

I was surprised to recieve another revised version of the cover for Unseen Academicals yesterday. They say its not over till the fat lady sings and all that...(in this case she's waving a pom-pom).

Anyway, it transpired that Terry requested that the cover should be sepia and more 'oldey worldey' like a vintage team photo; and thanks to the magic of digital technology, the designers at Transworld have manipulated the image accordingly.

I'm just here heaving a great sigh of relief that I didn't have to re-paint the blighter, thank heavens for computers and people who know how to work them!

This month also sees the launch of Paul Kidby tattoo flash sheets!

I have produced a set of six sheets for Jenny Clarke Design Ltd which supplies flash artwork to Tattoo studios around the world. My set features a bony collection of images with a definite hint of gothic for all those with a yearning for skulls and ravens.

Work continues on my Charmed Realm series of illustrations, and I have almost completed the large painting of ‘Evenstar’, which includes no less than twenty one faeries; here is a small detail from it (the whole illustration is 3ft 8 inches long).

It has come to my attention that Miss Treason has managed to use her feminine wiles and beauty to charm her way onto the 2010 Discworld Calendar cover, (CAW).

I have been enjoying the lighter evenings and ruminating on reclaiming the veg patch ready for planting my first earlies (Good Friday is the traditional day for it). Wishing you all the joys of spring, filled with chocolate eggs and optimism.
