This month I have mostly been sculpting. I am in the final stages now of creating the three dimensional version of ‘Nemisis’ the Griffin. It takes a lot of manipulation to get my oil-based clay soft in this weather, but warming it up on the boiler seems to help. I’m looking forward to sending the finished piece off to the foundry, and seeing him emerge as a bronze.

I have also had my thinking cap on trying to decide what images to produce for the 2009 Discworld calendar. I think something including this chap:

I’m also going to illustrate Miss Treason, because I’ve never done her before and I feel like she's a character I can really sink my artistic chops into (metaphorically speaking).
