I have just finished both paintings for the 2008 Discworld Calendar, and submitted them to publishers Victor Gollancz, where they will feature alongside the work of other notable Discworld artists. Below is the pencil drawing for the second illustration I produced showing the character Mr Fusspot taken from Terry’s forthcoming book, Making Money.

Been off in a world of your own? No matter, you can catch up with all the goings on at paulkidby.net with our oldnews archives:

Pre-order Terry Pratchett's Discworld Collectors' Edition Calendar 2008 (Gollancz S.F.)

Victor Gollancz is in the process of producing a small scale paperback version of The Last Hero (a pocket Hero if you will) complete with all it’s original illustrations. The publishers have selected ‘The Silver Hoard’ to grace the cover - nice for those wrinkly octogenarians to get a second outing, especially with one less wrinkle (the big one down the middle of the page) so now you can get the full impact of Cohen’s loincloth!
