I have had great fun drawing some Discworld football cards for that cunning artificer, Bernard Pearson, whose bounteous creativity and wicked humour is always refreshing. He has asked me to design 20 cards, here are a few of my initial sketches which are inspired by the old Players cigarette cards of the 1920’s & 30’s. These will be launched this autumn with the publication of Sir Terry’s next book, Unseen Academicals.
This past month I have also produced the new cover artwork for the Polish edition of Tom Holt's fantasy novel, The Portable Door, which will be published by Proszynski Media later this year.
I have also illustrated an Alien Hand for the poster and CD cover of the forthcoming musical production of Only You Can Save Mankind, which is being adapted from Terry’s book by Shaun McKenna and Leighton James House.
Finally, I am in the process of producing a limited edition print of the painting, Evenstar, that I completed earlier this year. It should be available to buy sometime next month, all being well.
