| Paul Kidby was born in Northholt in 1964, the youngest of three by ten years, he spent much of his childhood drawing. | ||||
|
||||

|
He left school with few qualifications and trained as a dental technician making false teeth (which has come in handy when working on three dimensional projects). | |||
| Paul went freelance in 1986 (after a stint painting designs on roller blinds, where he learnt to air brush) and produced artwork for various products ranging from computer game packaging to video film sleeves. | |
|||
|
||||
| Between 1991 and 1995 he worked for Future Publishing. Maybe you've seen his stuff out there, he designed and painted over 200 magazine covers. | ||||||||||||||||

| In 1995 he took the plunge and committed himself to working exclusively for Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series. |  |

Twelve years later and recently re-married (in 2004) Paul is now to be found living and working in the New Forest. He still produces Discworld artwork, alongside other projects... | |||||||||||||||
