25 YEARS OF ILLUSTRATION!
At the start of January I completed the twelfth and final illustration for the 2012 Discworld calendar. Some of the images had been in the back of my mind for many years, so I enjoyed having an opportunity to realise them in pencil and paint. The calendar will be released for sale in the summer.
Meanwhile my preliminary drawing for the cover of Terry Pratchett's next Discworld novel ‘Snuff' has been approved and I am now busy with my colours…
I have also produced cover art for the French L'Atalante edition of ‘Agent to the Stars' by John Scalzi. It's a very amusing book and I enjoyed reading it.

I have commissioned the guys at Sculpture Castings to make Nemesis the bronze griffin no. 10/12 and have been inspired to get my sculpting materials out. A change in media is refreshing and fun and I am now working on two new sculptures: Pegasus and a Hare. They are still in the early stages:

Books Illustrated, now trading as Art of the Imagination, will be exhibiting some of my work, including I Shall Wear Midnight, Thud and Charmed Realm originals, at the Watercolours and Drawings Fair, The Science Museum, London 2nd - 6th February, I am looking forward to paying them a visit and looking around the museum. If you would like to attend please email them for a complimentary invitation.
I'm looking forward to the month ahead, there's lots to do and there will be snowdrops coming out in the garden and pancakes coming out of the kitchen. Enjoy.
