Welcome to my monthly news update where you can find out the various projects and commissions in progress in and around the Kidby Studio, (actually I work in our dining room but studio sounds so much grander!)

The cover image for ‘I Shall Wear Midnight' is now in the public domain, and I am currently busy drawing the chapter headings for it.

I have just taken delivery of new Charmed Realm Greetings cards,

There are 5 new designs including ‘Pegasus' to add to the Mythical Beast collection and we have also re-printed the ever popular and best selling image ‘Amaranth' the unicorn.

We are celebrating the release with a special offer for this month: Buy all five of the new designs and get ‘Amaranth' free.

Eko the elephant continues to enjoy his sojourn in Green Park and his spectacular vista down to Buck Palace . Pre-bidding has begun for those of you who have a large enough yearning, (not to mention mantelpiece) for a life sized adolescent Ellie. At the time of writing he has raised £2,500 – the proceeds of which will go to The Orangutan Foundation.

I have submitted 6 illustrations to Orion Publishing for the 2012 Discworld Calendar and am busy drawing up 6 more. I have also decided to include Greebo as a man in the line up following the enthusiastic response he received on my facebook page.

I am also looking forward to attending Art in Action at Waterperry Gardens near Oxford from the 15 th -18 th of July, where I will be a demonstrating artist for the duration of the four day event.

The foundry, Sculpture Cast, in Basingstoke , are in the process of casting edition numbers 2 & 3 of my bronze mermaid ‘Atlantia'. It is an honour for me to learn that she has been selected to be included in the Dimensional section of the forthcoming Spectrum 17 together with one of my illustrations in the Editorial section.

The World of Warcraft illustrations commissioned earlier this year are now finished, and I have been invited to produce further artwork for their trading card expansion pack ‘Worldbreaker'. I cannot show the finished versions of these images until after their publication, so I have some surprises up my sleeve for later this year.

I am reliably informed that there are a certain number of Discworld fans who also enjoy WOW, for me it has been an illuminating insight into a fantastical new world.

To finish up this news update I am posting some images to celebrate the new Sky movie of ‘Going Postal'.

Wishing you all a sunny and strawberry filled June, I will be celebrating my birthday and I hope you have something nice to celebrate too.
