Paul Kidby News Update – January/February 2012
The celebrations are over and now, with glass of Alkaseltza in hand, its time to look forward to the fresh New Year ahead…
I have enjoyed spending the quiet days between Christmas and New Year working on a new sculpture of ‘Feldspar' the dragon. I painted Feldspar back in 2007 as part of my mythical beast collection and have been looking forward to creating him in three dimensions ever since.

There are plenty of exciting new projects lined up for the year ahead and my original artworks and bronzes will be exhibited in venues across the UK by ‘Art of the Imagination', here are their spring dates:

The French Fan 2 Fantasy publication of ‘Hommage a Sir Terence' was released recently featuring new Kidby cover artwork:
It was very rewarding for me to see that the Kidby illustrated 2012 Discworld calendar ranked number one in the Independent's pre-Christmas best buy chart. I hope it brought a smile to the faces of those of you who unwrapped a copy on Christmas morning.
I wish all the friendly visitors to this website a very Happy New Year, may the coming months be productive and positive for us all.
